Hello followers! I have been working A LOT lately, working on other projects and being very tired. I finally have time again since work is slowing down (I work for tourists and the season is winding down). Thanks for being patient with me!
I hope I can post at least once a week now. This is now easier since Blogger has finally decided to move forward with their design, so much easier!

Anaal Nathrakh - New Album May 17th 2011
It has been awhile, huh? Last post was on 4/20, so its been... 1, 2... carry the 5... a lot of days. What have I been doing? Mostly preparing to move in August, its a ways off, but I have to make about 1000 bucks before then (p'shaw, thats all? yeah, I pay "rent" now at my home and internet and some for storage... while not making much of an income. fun.). Its gonna be nifty. I can sell most of my shit, but whatever, its what I have been up to.
Anaal Nathrakh, which yes, I have posted about before... has a new album coming out on the 17th, entitled Passion. "Anal Passion" jokes, har har, I know.
I really love this band, one of the hardest, extreme and all out awesome bands out there, but with melodic bits and some truly misanthropic horror stories to tell. I love "In the Constellation of the Black Widow", one of my top 5 albums of all time, and another amazing album is "Hell is Empty and All the Devils are Here..." The new album would be hard to match, but so far its pretty f*cking awesome. Lets get this going... Some old tracks first, and the third track is a from Passion. I really am digging it.

Rossomahaar
Symphonic Black Metal from Russia. Rossomahaar
is sprawling, dark and epic, reminds me of playing Doom
when I was younger (oh who am I kidding, I still play it). They formed in 1995, when "Lazar (guitars) and Vlad (drums, vocals) started off working on few compositions which could be reckoned to the genre of Black Metal stylistically. Both musicians simultaneously played in Moscow’s dark metal act Stonehenge, which was considered top-priority then, and therefore Rossomahaar’s rehearsals took place quite rarely, to say the least."
They have a large amount of genres mixed together, from Thrash, Black Metal, Death Metal and even... Jazz?

Despite the name, the band's traditional lyrical themes involving evil and occultism has evolved into a more mystic path, and they have modified their musical direction on each album, utilizing elements such as clean melodic baritone vocals, Doom, Gothic metal and Industrial music traits, and male/female Benedictine chants."
Rotting Christ is more of what I would call a Melodic Blackened Death Metal band, heavy, atmospheric and full of awesome riffs / musicianship. They currently have 10 albums (their newest being Aealo) so you have a lot to pick from if you like it!

Nachtmystium
Nachtmystium is a Psychedelic Black Metal band from Illinois. Their style has changed from more Black Metal to Psychedelic Metal (AKA Stoner Metal or Stoner Doom). They are, in my opinion, reminiscent of older metal bands such as Led Zeppelin. Go ahead, check it out (the first track is their newest album, the second is from a few albums ago)!

Bathory
Bathory is "one of the pioneers of the first wave of black metal music (as well as viking metal)." Tomas Forsberg AKA "Quarthon" was guitars, vocals, music and lyrics (1983–2004) and all instruments (1991–2004). Sadly, Quorthon died of a heart attack on June 3, 2004 in his appartment in Hässelby, Stockholm.
A few days ago I said I would post some "Viking Metal" and this is a pioneer of the genre (or theme to be precise). Very chilling and epic, fairly clean vocals that aren't tacky (like a lot of Power Metal etc.), check it out!

Anaal Nathrakh (Follow Up w/ Videos)
Before I started embedded videos in the post, I wrote about one of my favorite bands, Anaal Nathrakh. ("The name comes from Merlin's Charm of Making in John Boorman's 1981 film Excalibur. According to Michael Everson's transcription, Anaal Nathrakh means serpent's breath", so no more anal jokes haha).
