Kylesa

To make up* for that Brutal Death, I bring some more Stoner / Sludge Metal from Savannah, Georgia US. "Since this quintet first formed in early 2001, worrying about genre limitations has never been a priority. Taking musical chances, however, always has been." This Stoner Metal is not as slow or hard as bands like Electric Wizard, but thats not a bad thing! I think it sounds close to bands like Mastodon (ooh! another post idea!), check it out!

Scapegoat:

Tired Climb:

*Not really, if you don't like Brutal Death etc. I don't blame you, It's extreme... but just don't listen! Its right there in the tags:

Looks like a band I could get into. The vocals kind of remind me of old school punk.
Thanks for showing me a new band.
If you find the time, take a quick look at my blog Rawbhal's Interwebular Emporium. Its not exactly music related but perhaps you can find something of use.

I could get into this music, but unfortunately my music log is all backed up.

Is it bad that, after the first 6 seconds of 'Scapegoat' I was waiting for "You gotta keep em separated..."??

Great tunes, great band.

Sick drum solo to start the first song.

Not really my type of music, though. For some reason, one of my girlfriends likes metal haha.
